Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 07/09/2026
find.watches is an independently owned watch-comparison site operated by TAGCOM LLC ("we," "us," or "find.watches"). We keep our data practices deliberately simple, and this policy describes them in plain language.
The Short Version
- We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We don't run banner or display ads on our site. We do use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure and target the ads we run on Facebook and Instagram, which involves sharing limited activity with Meta — see “Cookies and Analytics” below.
- We don't buy data about you from data brokers or third-party lists.
- We use analytics to understand aggregate traffic; it isn't used to build advertising profiles about you or to serve you ads.
- We only collect personal information you choose to give us — mainly your name and email address when you contact us.
Information We Collect
Contact form. If you message us through our Contact Us page, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message so we can reply.
Automatically collected. Like virtually all websites, our servers keep standard logs that may include your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you request. We use these only to operate the site, prevent abuse (for example, rate-limiting and spam protection), and diagnose errors. We use your IP address at the time of a form submission to verify you're not a bot via Cloudflare Turnstile.
We do not collect payment information, mailing addresses, or phone numbers, and we do not acquire information about you from data brokers or purchased lists.
Cookies and Analytics
Aside from the Meta Pixel described below, find.watches does not set its own advertising or marketing cookies. Your light/dark theme preference is stored locally in your own browser and never leaves your device.
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool, to understand aggregate traffic (such as page views and referrers). It does not use cookies and is not designed to identify individual visitors.
We also use Google Analytics (GA4), a web-analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate, for example: page views, referrers, device type, and approximate geographic region. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) in your browser to distinguish visits and measure usage. Your IP address is used by Google to estimate a general location and is not stored by us. We use Google Analytics for measurement only: we do not use it to serve you ads, and we have not enabled Google's advertising or cross-device features. Google processes this data under its own Privacy Policy. If you prefer, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics.
We also use the Meta Pixel (also known as the Facebook Pixel), an advertising technology provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Unlike the analytics tools above, the Meta Pixel is used for advertising: it sets cookies (such as _fbp) and shares certain activity with Meta — for example, that you viewed a page on find.watches — so we can measure how our ads perform and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited our site. Meta may match this activity to your Meta account and use it to build advertising audiences. Meta acts as an independent controller of this data and processes it under its own Privacy Policy. You can review and adjust how your data is used for ads in your Facebook Ad Preferences, and you can block or delete these cookies through your browser settings.
Some essential third-party services we rely on may set their own strictly necessary cookies, for example: Cloudflare, which provides bot protection and content delivery. When you click an affiliate link to a retailer, that retailer and its affiliate network may set their own cookies on your browser; see "Affiliate Links" below.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to messages you send us through the contact form.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site, including preventing spam and abuse.
We do not use your information for telemarketing, direct mail, targeted advertising, or any marketing. We use the details you submit through the contact form only to reply to you.
Affiliate Links
find.watches earns commissions as an affiliate. When you click a link to a retailer (such as Amazon, or partners reached through networks like AvantLink, Awin, CJ, and Impact) and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. To credit that purchase, the retailer and its affiliate network typically place their own cookies in your browser and track the click. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any retailer you visit.
Who We Share Information With
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed to provide their service:
- SMTP2GO — to deliver messages submitted through our contact form.
- Cloudflare — for bot protection (Turnstile) and content delivery.
- Ahrefs — for cookieless, aggregate analytics.
- Google Analytics — for aggregate usage measurement.
- Meta (Facebook) — for measuring and targeting the ads we run on Facebook and Instagram, via the Meta Pixel.
- Sentry — for error monitoring, configured not to capture personal data by default.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Your Choices and Rights
Access and deletion: you can ask us to access or delete the personal information we hold about you (such as a message you've sent us) by contacting us through the Contact Us page.
California, EU and UK residents: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data and to know whether it is sold (we do not sell it). Contact us to exercise these rights.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
find.watches is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
International Visitors
find.watches is operated in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Effective Date" above when we do, and significant changes will be posted on this page.
