About Dietrich

Dietrich was established in 2010 by Emmanuel Dietrich. On the brand’s About Us page, he is identified as born in 1969 in Besançon, which the site calls the birthplace of French watchmaking. The same page says he founded the brand after 17 years designing for major brands. Dietrich’s history on the site runs from its first public presentation at GTE Geneva in January 2012 and its first Baselworld appearance that year, through the development of Organic Time in 2013 and the official launch of that collection in 2014.

The brand site also records several milestones. It says Perception was conceived in 2016 as the brand’s first complication and was presented at Baselworld 2017. The same history states that counterfeits of the Organic Time collection began to spread in 2015, and that 2019 brought the introduction of the DD-1, identified there as Dietrich Device Nr. 1.

Collections documented on the site have included Organic Time, Perception, Time Companion, DD-1, Skin Diver, Skin Diver 2, and ED-1. The site describes Time Companion as Emmanuel Dietrich’s take on integrated-bracelet luxury sports watches. It presents Skin Diver as part of a creative direction focused on reinterpreting watch templates from the past, and it lists ED-1 as a 2024 launch.

The imprint page lists Dietrich Factory GmbH and gives a bank address in Zug, Switzerland. The same page says the company is registered with the commercial register of the Canton of Zurich and names Emmanuel Dietrich as managing director. The FAQ states that orders are shipped with FedEx and that shipments are tracked and fully insured.
